Emma Claire was so excited about the 100th Day of Kindergarten. They had been talking it up since the first day of school and she was counting down the days until it got here. They were all suppose to wear 100 of something that day so we had to get creative. : )
Lucky for her, her mom has an embroidery machine. We were able to embroidery 100th Day of Kindergarten and then paint our hands and Dawson's feet on it.
We each did two sets of our hands and D's feet and had 100 fingers and toes! I love that it's a shirt we can put up and keep. She was so proud of her creation.
Mrs. Streit and Mrs. Ferrell had worked hard to decorate the room, too!
They had all types of things planned to celebrate their day. First on the roster was a parade down the hall and then outside to release 100 beautiful balloons. It was so fun to celebrate this with all the parents.
They took some time to recite some Bible verses they had memorized, do their pledges to the American Flag, Christian Flag, and Bible, and then spend some time in prayer before they released the balloons.
It was such a beautiful sight!

It was such a sweet time for all of us to be there. : )
Mrs. Ferrell had 100 smarties on her coat and made a sign that said, "I survived 100 days of school with these sweet smarties". Isn't that adorable!
