Fall 2011 Pictures w/ Kelly Hunter

I forgot to add these pictures in the fall when they were taken so I'm adding them here to have them in my blog book.
We absolutely love Kelly Hunter and the pictures she captures of our family. What a treasure to have!

*We didn't know it yet but I was actually pregnant in these pictures with the sweet baby I lost last October. This is a sweet, sweet memory for me.

Favorite Toys

The kids 3 most favorite toys at ages 2 & almost 5:
  1. Two empty laundry baskets.
  2. A closet full of my shoes. High heels are a favorite.
  3. Balloons that have deflated to the point that they don't stay in the air.

Library with Daddy

Had a great time with my favorite little girl at the Wake Forest public library today!

Pockets

Camp has just discovered his love for pockets. He walks around saying I got pockets, I got pockets!

Picture of Mommy

Camp drew a picture of me at school today. Do you think he was insinuating anything by drawing all the circles? Does he think I'm round?

Ready for the GAME

We got all suited up and ready for the BCS Championship!

Thanks Juana for the shirts! Right: Emma Claire has some pretty good picture taking skills. : )

Right: Emma Claire begged to wear her outfit to school the next day. I told her that if Alabama won then she could wear it and guess what... THEY DID! So of course we decked out! : 0

68 In January

What do we do when it's 68 degrees in January?! Play on the playground at school for hours and then go over to the field to just RUN!

Tarnation

As we were riding down the road the other day Emma Claire said...

"What in the tarnation!?"

My mouth dropped.

Where did she hear that?!

Is it a bad word? Slang?

I will say after the shock I did laugh a little. :)

I Love You

I LOVE that Emma Claire is learning to spell! She wrote this note just for me. : )

Our First Pets

When we got back from MS Emma Claire could not wait to go pick out her fish for her tank. We went to the greatest little place in Wake Forest and she was beside herself looking at all the different types of fish. We planned on just getting some cheap goldfish but the owner said that the kids would be more happy with little 'entertainer' fish, as he called them, so we settled with two dannios and two platies. Just look at this face!

I have to say we are all quite proud of our new pets. I was suppose to move the tank into Emma Claire's room but I'm enjoying having them in the kitchen too much!

Random Pics From Christmas

These are just some random pics I took from my phone while we were traveling over the holidays and wanted to make sure that I kept them.

The kiddos with Pops and Gran-Gran.

Right: At the end of our Christmas trip Benjamin and I were able to get away for a couple of days to Chattanooga, TN for a Campus Outreach Conference. Some friends of ours were doing the music and they also had awesome speakers like Matt Chandler, John Piper, & Mike Greaer.

Right: We traveled up the mountain and walked around Covenant College.
And look who else we got to spend time with! Chelsey and Chad don't live far out of the city so they came on New Years Eve night and spent the evening with us.

We had a blast hanging out with them! We took a walk over the bridge and just look how pretty the city is at night.

We also ate some good grub! I have never been to Sticky Fingers but I can't wait to go back! Look how much food was just on my plate.
Chad drove us to the top of the mountain so that we could see how pretty the lighting was. It was pretty amazing! Then we headed back to the conference for the 'dance party'. Before everything started they set out to break a world record of how many beach balls could be thrown in the air at the same time. The World Record was 400 and they blew it out of the park by throwing 1,000! (There were 5,000 at the conference.)

The night before we left Poppa and GG brought the kids up to us so we could leave early the next morning. Check out Camp's little room Benjamin set up for him with the curtain. : )
