Guess Who Lost Her First Tooth Last Night!?

This is something I was not ready for. I was so sad to know that she was old enough to start losing her beautiful baby teeth and get her big girl teeth. This was just a few minutes before the action started. The tooth was so loose that we were afraid that it would fall out in her sleep and she would swallow it.

Can you see that big tooth coming in?

When she decided she was ready for it to come out there was no turning back for her.

Click Here to watch the video of when it came out.

All Benjamin did was twist the tooth and it fell right out in the recliner.

Popsicles and phone calls to tell grandparents always make things better!

When Emma Claire went to bed she said, 'Mommy, if you really are the tooth fairy will you be sure not lose my tooth so I can take it to school tomorrow to show my friends?' Smart girl.

The tooth fairy almost had to use an American Express card because we couldn't find any cash. ; )
Luckily we found a hidden dollar!

Just look at this excited face when she woke up!

Christmas Gifts from the Kids

The kids made these awesome Christmas gifts for us at school!

Left: Camp made a manger scene using his hand.

Right: Emma Claire made an ornament of our family with her hand. She made each one of us with her fingers!

Emma Claire also made a manger scene on a plate with her footprint!

I love these sweet gifts from our children and will cherish them ALWAYS!

Emma Claire's Class Christmas Party 2012

Everyone loves a party right?!

The moms who planned the kindergarten Christmas party did a wonderful job!

First they made homemade Christmas ornaments...

Then decorated Christmas cookies....

Isn't it funny how her snowman lined right up with the snowman on her plate?! It looks like he has a hat and arms!

And of course you have to play games...

The kids thought it was great that Mrs. Streit and Mrs. Ferrel joined in on the fun!

Family Christmas 2012

We have chosen not to do 'Santa Claus' with our kids, but that doesn't mean they miss out on our Christmas morning! We still all got more than we deserve are very grateful for it. Just look at their loot!

The kids each had their own pile and we also got a Wii for our family to enjoy together. I think this will bring us lots of laughs as we spend time together.

Even Dawson was all smiles on our Christmas morning!

I just want to soak up these sweet faces and memories with our children. They go by way to fast and too many times we get caught up into the busyness of life.

Lord, please help us to make the most of each moment we are given.

Of course we had to make some of Emma Claire's Dippin' Dots to try!

Because we travel home for Christmas we do our family Christmas the Saturday before we leave so the kids can enjoy their toys before we go home. We had a wonderful day spending time together and remembering what the ultimate gift was on Christmas. The Messiah had finally come to be the Savior of the world!

**Thank you RaRa and PePaw for helping us make this a wonderful Christmas for our kids!

Dawson Fun Fact

Tonight at Holly Grove's Christmas Program Dawson laughed out loud at his Mommy!

I had him laying in my lap as they were singing and was clapping his hands to the beat of the music. As the beat got faster I clapped his hands faster. He thought it was so funny and a little giggled popped out!

Can't wait to hear more of these! Sweet boy.

Emma Claire's Christmas Program 2012

Get ready for Emma Claire picture overload! This is her last EVER Christmas Program at LLLC and it makes my heart so sad. She has been at Little Lambs since she was 6 weeks old and they have helped shaped her into the wonderful person she is.

Her kindergarten class helped lead the 3 and 4 year old programs. Up first was the 3 year old program.

Click Here to watch a couple videos of her in action.

This year she LOVED being on stage. After every song this is the expression we would get from her...

Dawson was my program watching buddy!

Next up was the 4 year old program. Here comes by beautiful angel marching in from the back!

After every song she gave this curtsy and bow. Very much a princess she is. She said she had to marry a boy named 'Prince' so that she could be a princess. ; )

We love our ANGEL!!!!
