Guess Who Lost ANOTHER Tooth!?
We didn't think this tooth was EVER going to fall out. Actually it didn't. Shhhh! Mommy may or may not have given it a little tug when I was looking at it. ; )

Our First Snow at the New House
The kids were beyond excited when they woke up Wednesday morning and saw all the beautiful snow on the ground! They could.not.wait. to get outside and play in it.
You know the drill. We took 30 minutes to get everyone really bundled up to play outside and they spent a total of 15 minutes outside before they were ready to come back in and warm up. : )

One of their favorite parts was the snow covered trampoline.

Dawson was not so much a fan. I decided to not put gloves on him thinking he would just get them all wet in the snow and it would make his hands even colder. He just couldn't understand why his hands were 'burning' from the cold. Poor buddy. Maybe next year.

Poor guy cried for 30 minutes until I wrapped his hands in a warm cloth to get them warm.

We have perfect ditches for sledding. They are just high enough that the kids can do it themselves and not worry about them getting hurt.

When we moved into our neighborhood the neighbors had told us that they always seem get more snow on this side of town than the other side where we used to live. This snow proved their theory. We got quite a bit more snow than the dusting our old neighborhood got.
Time for snow angels!

Bottom Right: They worked hard to gather us some clean snow for our snow cream!

My Boy & His Art
When the kids threw me the get well party Camp was in charge of drawing the decorations. I was SO proud of him. These pictures may not be much but Camp has never ever liked anything to do with art or any type of drawing. I've tried to get him to and all he wants to do is play with balls or cars. Anything but art.
I think we are making progress! Think he already draws better than me, mom?!

Emma Claire's Crab Crawled OUT of His Shell!!
Guess we will have to wait and see what new shell he chooses!
The basketball shell still has Camp's crab in it.

Stomach Virus of the Century
On Friday night there was a welcome dinner for all of the new college & seminary students at Southeastern. We had a wonderful time and great food but once we got home we knew something wasn't right. Not two hours after we got home Emma Claire started throwing up. She was sick through the night and then I caught it the next morning. The sad thing was that Benjamin was teaching a class all weekend at the seminary and wasn't home to help. It.Was.Awful. And it was really one of those days that I just wanted my momma. Emma Claire was feeling better the next morning and did her best to help with the boys while I rested.
While Dawson was napping I took some medicine and slept on the couch while the big kids were watching a movie. When I woke up they had surprised me with a get better party!
They were so proud of themselves and I'm very proud of how quiet they were while I was sleeping in the same room with them.
We had 'blueberry muffin' cake with icing... (shhhh, I couldn't stomach it but I did a great job pretending. : )

Check out the décor they pulled out. There were even more streamers and pictures hanging in the kitchen that I didn't get a picture of.

The next day Benjamin came down with the bug. Boo! Camp had a slight touch of it and Dawson was the lone survivor.
After 24 hrs here was my first meal and it was perfect.
Here is an instagram of our weekend...

Now the crazy thing was that just about every single family that was at the dinner that night got the same virus. It spread like wild fire! They are assuming that something in the food was contaminated but let's just say that every time that there is a get together at the school now we are all a bit gun shy. Some of the poor families took weeks to get over it. It just kept passing back and forth between everyone in their family. We are so thankful that it just took us down for the weekend!
Thank you, Lord, for health today!
