Birthday 'Day' at School

On the Friday before Emma Claire's birthday she got to celebrate at school with her friends. She LOVES her buddies so much!

She used to be one of the taller kids in her class but it seems they have all had a recent growth spurt. (Allison, on the left, is as tall as Robbie but she is squatted down.) On Fridays in Emma Claire's class they have special 'mystery readers' come in to read stories to the kiddos at the end of the day.  What Emma Claire didn't know was that her RaRa & PePaw had driven over and came to surprise her. Don't you just love the way they hide their faces until the teacher tells them to open their eyes. : ) Right: Just as the teacher told them to look up.

I think she was surprised!

After they finished reading we served donuts and lemonade to celebrate her special day!

So glad RaRa & Pepaw got to come celebrate with us at school!

Valentines Day 2012

I was so surprised this year to receive my Valentine's treat 4 days early! These beautiful flowers were sitting on my steps with this sweet card...

Camp accidentally broke one off so Emma Claire decided to stick one in a vase for her!

It's Getting Close

Frozen Shoes

You might not can tell it from this picture but I deserve the mom of the year award. I washed Camp's shoes yesterday because he got paint on them and then stuck them outside. Yea, it's below freezing outside. I froze them.

Potty

Camp really thought he was a big boy going potty at Wal-Mart. What he didn't know......it wasn't a potty at all, but he was being a big boy!

Daddy/Daughter Dance

I wish you could have heard the squeal when Benjamin told Emma Claire he was taking her to the daddy/daughter dance. She was soooooo excited and has been talking about it for weeks!

So, you better believe when it came time to get ready EVERYTHING had to be documented.

Time for hair and make-up!

Her curls were so beautiful when we took the rollers out. I'm so glad we snapped a lot of pics because they didn't last long. : )

Time to go!

Before the dance several of the dads/daughters met at the Savages for pizza and subs. It was a great time for all!

Benjamin stopped and bought Emma Claire a long stem rose before they went. : )

They had such a wonderful time. I'm so thankful Benjamin takes time to do these special things with Emma Claire. They didn't get home 'til almost 10:00pm and Emma Claire wouldn't stop singing Justin Bieber's, 'Baby, Baby'. She was on cloud nine!
