May in Review

On May 2nd, we received an email that brought us the biggest blessing. There was a 2.5 week old little boy at WakeMed Hospital that needed a foster family to love on him. We gave them a huge YES & less than 5 hours later he was sitting in our living room in the carseat below with a bag of 4 bottles of formula and a few diapers.

Little Stephen had spent the last two weeks detoxing & was doing amazing! I joked with our social worker that I hoped he had dark hair because none of my kids did. I squealed when I took off his hat because look at all that hair! : ) 

We were smitten on Day 1 with Stephen Riley!

April in Review

Hope Reigns in Raleigh is a safe place people can go for horse therapy. We got to go hear their story and love on some of their horses. Such a cool place!

A visit with our Parker's in Charleston! 

Emma Claire thought just was going to pull a prank on Mom but instead pulled one on herself! 🤣 She lined the toilet with plastic wrap hoping to get me when I went to the bathroom...instead she forgot about it and ran in to use the bathroom. Unfortunately, she got a little wet! : )

I posted this picture below on Facebook on April 17th. Little did I know that 3 days before a little one was born at the hospital and was getting ready to change our lives!
