First Snowfall of Winter 2010 and Our First Gingerbread House

Yesterday afternoon we got a big surprise and it started to snow! I was so excited and wanted to share the excitement of the moment, but both kids were asleep and Benjamin was gone hunting. : ( Here is what it looked like when it started...

 By 8:00 pm we had a nice covering and the tree in our backyard looked so pretty!

When Emma Claire woke up from her nap she was SUPER excited and immediately wanted to go outside and play in the snow but because she had been sick we didn't want to take her out in the yuckiness. So, we decided to do something else special with her...building a Gingerbread House.

She was beyond excited about this project.

 Daddy was busted SEVERAL times eating the crafts.

 So proud we got the spend this special time with our sweet girl while Camp was in the bed. We had lots of laughs and certainly began making memories of our own this Christmas season.  Daddy even made us coffee and hot chocolate to enjoy afterwards! : )
