A New Chapter

In spring of 2006 Benjamin and I began to serve at Holly Grove Baptist Church in Spring Hope, NC. Benjamin began as a volunteer music director and teaching their youth and then joined their staff as the Associate Pastor in January of 2007. The people there were more than a blessing to us and became more like family. There were also many milestones in our life that took place there; I accepted Christ March 2006, Emma Claire was born February 2007, and Camp was born September 2009. They always have and always will have a special place in our heart.


Then in January of 2010 we began a new chapter in our life. We began attending North Wake Church in Wake Forest, NC to hopefully go through the church planting intern that they offer. Although it was super sad to leave everyone at Holly Grove we knew that we needed to gain what knowledge we could from North Wake about church planting. And let me just say we are loving the community there and the transition went wonderful. Emma Claire did great and the people there welcomed us in from the first time we entered the doors.

God has truly blessed us with the opportunity to attend North Wake and we are enjoying every minute of it. I can't wait to add more to this new chapter in our lives.

I am thankful to God for what He is doing in your lives and the places He is leading you. No greater joy than for your children to walk in the Lord. Exciting to see it all unfold! I love your family!

Left: Check out this CUTE magnet. Right: We got to spend a beautiful Saturday morning picking strawberries and going to the park with the Davis and Lyon family! The 'teacher' in Steph came out as she gave them a lesson in picking strawberries.

We were trying to get a picture of Camp in his outfit that Uncle Ross and Aunt Katie got him. Couldn't you just eat those thighs!?!

We got to the spring picnic at SEBTS really early. Like an hour and a half before. Our friend, Seth, was over the event so he told Emma Claire she could go ahead and start playing on the bounce houses. She had them all to herself. Heaven.

We were invited over to our friends, the Finn's, house for a cookout and Emma Claire was sooooo excited to see all of her friends from Holly Grove.

While Benjamin was out of town we had a couple pictures taken of us together for one of his Father's Day gifts.

Right: Emma Claire was very quiet one Sunday afternoon and this is where we found her. In Camp's room organizing all of our shoes. A Girl after my own HEART!

You will have to start at the beginning of this set of pics. This is the day Camp started crawling and this was the last picture of him. Can you see how proud he was!! So proud of him!
