Field Trip to the Apple Orchard

We went on a last minute field trip to the apple orchard with friends because we heard it was prime season and didn't want to miss out on this fun opportunity with friends. It was about 1 hr and a half away but so worth it. We had tons of fun!!

Check out these goofy kids!

These are two of Emma Claire's BEST buddies. She misses seeing them more than you know. This was such a fun treat for her!

And Camp and his bud, Wesley. : )

Before we got started Mrs. Stephanie made sure to explain to them how to properly pick an apple and what to look for in a good apple. So glad she was with us because I had NO clue!

The best apples were high in the tree. So glad I had this climber with me! : )

Now this looks like a cute picture of Dawson but don't be deceived. He isn't picking apples but rather attacking people with them. He thought they were little baseballs so every apple he found on the ground he threw at whoever was closest. If you weren't ready you better watch out!

We found a twin apple!

On our way to the pumpkin patch!

These two best buds made sure to find pumpkins that were almost twins. ; )

They had such a fun play area for the kids. They loved it as much as picking apples. Us mommas enjoyed this time to just catch up!

We had a successful field trip to Millstone Creek Orchards! Thanks for inviting us, friends!

One Thing You Don't Do

One thing you don't do is decide to put the baby in his big boy bed for the night when Mommy isn't home. Not a good choice.

I was working late at the Kids Exchange one night when I got this picture from Benjamin...

I wasn't ready for this! Ah....he is STILL the baby in the house. It made me so sad to know that he was already sleeping so soundly in his big boy bed. He actually did fantastic.

The picture on the bottom left was how I found him about 5am. I'm not sure if he fell off the bed or if he moved himself to the floor and covered himself back up. The one on the right is him taking his first nap in his big boy bed. Precious.

Now...there are some moments like this when I find him sound asleep in the floor and with a bed covered with toys but over all he is doing FANTASTIC considering he isn't even two yet!

Great job little Buddy! Make sure to tell Daddy to stop rushing things! ; )

We love getting to watch Sissy on this big TV at Gymnastics

Camp's 5th Birthday Party

We have never had Camp a birthday party here in NC with his buddies. The only parties he's had have been back in MS with the last one being a joint party with Dawson.

So, this year, for his 5th birthday we decided to have a real party! His choice, Jumping Beans. (We had Emma Claire's 4th birthday party there.)

It was a PERFECT place for our boys! They could be as wild as they dreamed inside the bounce house.

You guessed it....Firetrucks was the theme!

We were so thankful that all of his buddies were able to make it!

Dawson and his buddy, Jude.

The birthday boy with two of his buds, Wesley and Easton!

You know he chose chocolate cake!

The picture on bottom right cracks me up! There was a little boy who really wanted a bite of his sisters cake. ; )

We are so thankful for our sweet boy and all of his friends who came to celebrate him! We love you, Camp Quinn! FIVE is going to be AWESOME!
