That's Not My Hand

Yup, right now this is a nightly thing. For whatever reason the last few nights Camp has ended up in our bed and it always ends in a face slap for me. I know I'll miss these days very soon but right now I'm missing my sleep! Ha! : )

Happy Birthday Emma Claire!

Can my girl really be 8?! So blessed to be her mommy.

Emma Claire is SO full of life and imagination. She LOVES to help at home and is SUPER creative!

First thing was first for the birthday girl, a trip to Red Robin to get her free birthday burger! Then of course the happy birthday song and free dessert. She was secretly looking forward to this attention ALL DAY long. ; )



This year for her birthday she wanted to do several things with her friends so we told her if she wanted to do that then she had to narrow it down to two friends. Of course she talked me into 3 because Peyton & Laine are twins so they really only count as one, right?! ; )

Check out this yummy edible arrangement RaRa and PePaw sent for her and her friends to enjoy. These are a family fav for us!















The girls chose to snuggle down and watch Narnia until they feel asleep. Then the next morning they opened gifts after having our traditional chocolate chip pink pancakes/waffles for breakfast.



Camp even wrapped sissy up a gift himself!





This boy right here was awesome while the big kids skated! He was perfectly content sitting right here playing games on Mommy's phone. ; )





They all had a blast and did an awesome job skating. We made it out with no injuries which is a win in my book! ; )

Emma Claire had a great time with her 3 buddies Kayla, Peyton, and Laine. Which just so happen to be our neighbors. : )

Have I ever mentioned what great neighbors and friends we had in our old neighborhood? (I'm not saying we don't now, because we do!)

First Snow of 2015!

Whenever we know we may lose power we always fill the bathtub with water right away! No power = no water. That's just tough to deal with. ; )

These three cuties were ready to hit the snow! We could not get their snow gear on fast enough.





The snow was coated with ice so it was the best possible sledding weather!








The kids had a BLAST going down the neighbors steep driveway!

Daddy + Dawson + a wagon + an icy hill = never a good idea.



Dawson wasn't interested in going down but he gave GREAT pushes! ; )



Icicles make awesome hair decor. Don't you think?!








So after the kids finished their snacks and hot cocoa Dawson went behind them to make sure there was no cocoa left in the cups or snacks left in the wrappers. ; ) He made out like a bandit!









We have the BEST neighbors! We really do. The Lord definitely blessed us with great people around us. They love us and our kids so well!































We had a wonderful day of fun in the snow. Before we even realized it we had been having a blast with neighbors for over 4 1/2 hrs! A great day in the books for sure.
