Free Meals!

Team Quinn took advantage of all the free meals in Wake Forest today for wearing your Halloween costume! We made stops by each one and then headed home to our feast! ; )

Trick-OR-Treating 2016

First of all, I'm super sad because this year I actually pulled out my good camera and got some awesome pictures of the kids. I pulled out my camera card to upload them and my camera card broke. It was a sad, sad day for this momma! I had lots of pictures on that card.

Let me just say we have the most awesome neighborhood! They certainly go all out for everything. We were able to join up with friends and ride in a trailer behind a friends 4-wheeler to snag some goodies!

I'd say they scored big! And they didn't even make it to the other side of the neighborhood. : )

Introducing Fletcher Riley Quinn!

We got some very exciting news today! We were given permission to change Stephen's name to Fletcher! Nothing is official yet but it looks like we are moving in the direction of adoption so our social worker, Cheryl, said we could begin to introduce him to his new name. ; ) He is just so edible!

Turtle Rescue

We got to rescue a turtle who had gotten stuck in the fence at the new property today! ♡ that the kids get to experience this!

Emma Claire & Stephen's Stats

Today Emma Claire finally had her 9 year old check-up and Stephen had his 6 month. Check out these stats!

Emma Claire:
Weight: 61 lbs (24%)
Height: 52 inches (26%)

She is stil hanging on to that petite figure! ; )

Stephen:
Weight: 18lb 4oz (62%)
Height: 27.5 inches (82%)
Head Circ: 44.5 cm (81%)

Stephen is following right along in my boys footsteps! Looks like he is gonna be a big boy, too! : )

The first couple pics are from when RaRa & PePaw kept all our kiddos while we were in Europe with Southeastern. Such a sweet reunion seeing them when we got back!

NC State Fair 2016

Every year it just keeps getting better and better! We ❤️ the state fair so much! 

And we added a new tradition this year. It was Stephen's very first state fair! I think you could say he had a great time. :)

 

 

We were able to snag unlimited ride wrist bands for the kids this year which saves us so much money and sanity. It gets to be 'yes' day and the kids love it! No counting tickets and no disappointments. It's a win win for parents and kids! :)

 

 

 

And here's the best part! We were able to go with our friends the Lyons again this year! It's become a tradition for us to go together and something we all look forward to. Love having dear friends like these!

 

Dawson was so excited he was able to ride all the big rides with Camp and Emma Claire this year. He thinks he's as big as they are anyway!

 

 

 

You can just see the excitement beaming from their faces! As a parent it is such a joy to watch. 

 

 

 

 

We went into the state fair with zero expectations this year having 4 kids and a baby. BUT they all did amazing! They were so good that we stayed until they closed at 11pm which meant we didn't get home til midnight. 😳 Totally not what we were expected but such a great treat!

 

 

We also got to enjoy the fireworks show. They always do such a wonderful job!

 

 

 

On our way out Benjamin rode one of the big roller coasters with Camp and Emma Claire. On the first drop Camp yelled, "That scared me to death!" 😂
