Terry & Cindee's Baptism

This morning I got the awesome privilege to go watch my neighbors be baptized! It has been wonderful getting to know them over the past two years and see them give their lives to Christ. We love you, Terry and Cindee Oakes.

It's Been a Busy Weekend

On Thursday when we left work we went to the airport to pick-up GG and James and the kids have been going BUSY ever since!

Opening birthday presents from Poppa and GG. She also got some flip-flops and a new outfit!

Left: Miss Priss Pot got into her dress-up clothes. She cracks me up the way she is sitting! ; Right: Reading bedtime stories with GG and James.

It has been such a beautiful weekend! The kids spent most of it running around and exploring outside.

Look whose riding the pink 4-wheeler! Who cares that it's pink. It moves.

Right: Watching the birds eating on the bird feeder.

I love that we have a back porch where the kids can play when I'm need to be inside. Emma Claire and James turned the brooms into horses!

Look Familiar

Like Mommy like Daughter!

A Dad

Emma Claire said "Hey, Mom. Look! I'm a dad!"

I think it made her a little cross-eyed!

Duke Game

One of Benjamin's buddies gave him two tickets to the Duke vs. Temple game. Floor Seats might I add!! Benjamin was so excited when his younger brother, Phillip, was able to come up and watch the game with him.

Duke games are super hard to get into so this was a big deal that they were able to go! Very exciting for them!

Bust a Move

Emma Claire came in the kitchen last night and told me she was going to 'bust a move'. Where does she get these things?! Silly girl.

We Had Our First Visitors Today

I was so excited when I saw that the birds found our feeder today. I actually caught sight of a Robin feeding on it, but when I walked outside to catch a picture of it I spooked it. Oh, well. Emma Clarie was so excited that we finally had bird friends! : )

Chuck E. Cheese

Before we took RaRa and PePaw back to the airport today we made a quick trip to Chuck E. Cheese. Let's just say, I survived! : )

I even caught PePaw playing a few games!

In the picture below Emma Claire was riding a roller coaster simulator. She loved it but I think I would have puked.

Camp didn't miss a beat. He knew that you put that money in there and something would happen. He just didn't know what!

Emma Claire had a blast for her last birthday celebration! She even made a few friends and they made the jungle gym a fort to watch for monsters and strangers. Fun Times.

Fun Facts!!

Camp blew me a kiss today for the first time! : )

Birthday Bird Feeder

Our neighbors, Terry and Cindee Oakes, have been so good to us since we moved to Youngsville. They love on our babies like they are their own. Today they brought over a Bird Feeder that Terry handmade out of cedar for Emma Claire for her birthday. What a wonderful present! I already love watching it out our window.

It's beautiful! Thank you Mr. Terry and Mrs. Cindee! Love, Emma Claire

Birthday Presents from Mississippi

We have been very blessed with a wonderful family and family friends who love on my kiddos on their birthday!

Emma Claire is really into Toy Story 3 right now and LOVES the Jessie character. Na-Na and Mrs. Juana showered her with gifts from the movie.  They were all PERFECT.

Every time Emma Claire and I went to Target she would see this little pink cabootle and ask for it. She would say that it was a treasure box and that she really needed one. It seemed like the perfect gift from Benjamin and I since we weren't going to spend much on presents since we were paying for her to have a party. Oh, the little things she gets excited about.

All decked out in her Jessie gear thanks to Na-Na and her new shiney shoes from Gran-Gran and Pops. This girl was ready to go somewhere!

Last, but not least, my cousin Chelsey handmade Emma Claire this blanket. She had told her once while we were home that she would like a princess blanket and so of course Chelsey made one! It's got a real soft fleece on the bottom side and is a perfect fit for her toddler bed.

So thankful for all the wonderful gifts Emma Claire received. She is definitely one blessed little girl!
