Party Preparations

We sure have been busy today! Since I was off work Emma Claire and I spent the time that Camp was napping to prepare for hers and Camp's Valentine parties at school and for her 4th birthday party.

31 Valentine Goody Bags Stuffed: Check!
This year RaRa sent goody bags and treats for the kids in their class in her Valentine Box so it helped me out a lot! Benjamin also scored some Valentine Cards from Krispy Kreme at work so we were also able to give each child a card for one free donut. Much, much more than we would have ever done on our own, but very thankful that we get to share these treats with their friends! : )

15 Party Favors Assembled: Check!
Next, we started work on Emma Claire's party favors for her Birthday Party on Thursday. The theme is Dora so we found these cute Dora books in the dollar section at Target and thought they would be perfect favors for her friends. (Emma Claire was using the books to pretend that she was playing the piano. : )

We printed out Thank You Notes online and Emma Claire colored each of them and wrote each child's name on the inside to stick inside her books. She did a fantastic job writing each of their names!

 We also found these Dora bracelets on NickJr.com, printed them on card stock, and stuck them inside the books.

Emma Claire is SO pumped about her party and has been planning it for a year. This is her first 'real' birthday party since she turned one so it is a huge deal for her. So glad everything is coming together!!
