Daddy Taught in Chapel Today

Today Emma Claire got a surprise and Daddy came to school to teach Chapel. She was so excited and responded great. Last year when he came to do chapel she got upset because she wanted to stay with him and then cried when he left because she didn't want to go with her class. It was a disaster, but totally different this year! She participated with everything he did and went back with her class without a problem.  She even got to go up and help him sing a couple of his songs.

Before we went up for Chapel I stopped by Emma Claire's class and she was working as the calendar helper. Mrs. Amy said that she did so great that she just stood by and let her teach the month, day of the week, the date, and the weather all by herself. : )

The kids were so excited that he brought his guitar and sang songs with them. It wassuch a treat to do something different.

Benjamin was teaching about the 'Blind Man' and I caught this cute picture of Emma Claire demonstrating to her friends.

I wish that I had caught it on video, but once Benjamin asked the kids a question and Emma Claire was the first one to blurt out the answer from the back. Which was really funny to me because that has been something that we have really been working on during her circle time in class. Mrs. Kathy says that she gets so excited that she knows the Bible Story that she wants to answer all the questions and tell the story herself. That's my girl.

The first row is Emma Claire's cute little class.

Before Benjamin left we dropped by to see Camp's class in Discovery. I could just eat that sweet boy!

Mrs. Kelly said that he gets so into everything she teaches and never misses a thing.

The best part of the day was that when I picked her up Mrs. Amy said that she had a wonderful day! She said that their class as a whole did not do well, but she did. Which is a huge thing for her to be leading in that way. She also surprised me with getting the Quiet Mouse Award today! Way to go, Emma Claire! I'm so proud of how well you obeyed today and lead well.
