Dr. Daddy!!

This is a picture of a man who just successfully defended his dissertation! We love him so much and are so proud of you Dr. Daddy Quinn!! Now it's time to fly home so we can celebrate! ; )

Runner's Camp 2014

Runner's Camp is a big deal at our house. A really big deal.

Emma Claire literally counts down the months, weeks and days until it arrives.

This year I was THAT mom! : ) There are just perks when you have an embroidery machine!

I loved that this year 3 of her coaches are great friends of mine; Heather Cantilupi, Brooklyn Mason, & Lela McCall. One, I knew that she was very well taken care of and two, I got awesome pictures and videos during the day when she was at camp!

Poor EC got a sports injury! Mrs. Heather said she did great and got right back out there and competed! Way to go, sweet girl! : )

On Friday we got to go watch her compete in a few field events and she rocked it! Home girl got 2nd in shot put. Who says you have to be big to throw that ball. : )

She also competed in the long jump. She really did great!

We were all there bright and early on Saturday morning to cheer her on in her track meet. Go Yellow Team!!

There's our girl!

Dad made me a little watery eyed here. So proud of him.

Her first event was the 200 meter dash. Although she didn't win, she ran her heart out and nothing makes me more proud than the effort she gave. Way to go, sissy!

Next was the sibling race. Now, if any of you know Dawson, you know that he LOVES to run. However, when I told him to run, what did he do? He laid right down in the middle of the track. Defiant is not even the word.

Guess who had to carry him the rest of the race. Yours truly! ; )

Although the picture is blurry you can see the determination on Camp's face in this picture. This was serious business and he was in it for the win! They didn't receive place status but he was definitely first or second. : )

So proud of their ribbons from the sibling race.

Time for race two for sissy and snack time for Dawson!

I was one proud momma during this race. She was awesome at the hurdles!

Beautiful form!

You can tell from the pictures that she got second place but for some reason she didn't receive a ribbon. Her score keeper must have been napping. ; )

Afterwards she and mommy got a little mommy/daughter time. We chose to have lunch at Five Guys because neither of us had ever been. Her first words were, 'This is the best burger I've ever had!'. : 0

Great job, today, sissy! Until next year!
