Peyton and Laine's 6 Birthday Party

Peyton and Laine, aka 'the girls', are in our neighbors and the kids best buddies. They play together most every day. So much so that we have worn a path through the woods to their house and have even put down solar lights to make sure the kids don't deviate off the path.

I just want to note how much I love this. I feel like the kids are getting a little taste of what it was like when I grew up as a child. Staying out til bedtime playing with friends and not even wanting to come in for dinner.

Bliss.

Peyton and Laine love horses so a horse party was certainly in order. Needless to say, my kids were thrilled!

This horse farm is just right down the road from our home. Literally like 3 minutes max. One perk of living out in the country is that you see horse farms everywhere.

This girl was SO excited. She could not wait for her turn to ride the horse and now doesn't understand why we can't just go buy one to keep in our back yard. ; )

It's FINALLY my turn!

Horses are simply beautiful creatures. Just stunning.

I had to post this picture....this was just hours after we got home. Dawson wasn't so excited about his horse ride today. ; /

Happy 6th Birthday, Peyton and Laine! Thanks for inviting us to your party!!

Camp's First T-Ball Game

Yes, get ready for picture OVERLOAD. I'm not even the least bit sorry for this. ; )

I am loving this season of life and wanted to make sure every one of these made it into our blog book!

Camp was THRILLED about his first baseball game and practice. We had been counting down days for weeks at our house.

He and daddy even made a trip to Wal-Mart to make sure he had the bat, glove, and baseball pants that he needed. They even came back with a few things we didn't 'need'. ;0

I love that i9 Sports (the league we chose to go with this season) does everything on Saturdays. With three littles it's hard to make separate trips to the ball field multiple times a week. Each time they have a 30 minute practice and then a 30 minute game.

Camp's coach, Ted, was great! He was very energetic with the kids and also very focused to teach them the fundamentals of baseball.

Love that #10!

This little toot had fun, too! Sissy was gone to a birthday party so he got lots of love from Mommy and Daddy during brothers game.

Look who played short stop his very first game! Following in his Daddy's footsteps. ; )

Go Camp!

We had a David and Goliath moment when he got to first base. ; / Camp is quite a bit older and taller than most of the kiddos on his team which is great for him. He is used to getting bossed around by sister so it was great for him to have some time to be the oldest.

He hasn't quite figured out that he is not suppose to pass his teammates when running the bases. ; )

First time coming in to home deserves a slide, right? Well, I didn't get a picture but you can tell that he is getting into position.

It was a great first game Phillies!! (or Willies as Camp calls them ; )
