Bostick Christmas 2013

Although Gran-Gran was in the hospital recovering from gallbladder surgery Pops decided he would still like to have the family over for Christmas. We had a great time but still missed Gran-Gran telling us all what to do! ; )

I took her place a bit and said it was time to get the show on the road. We needed to get to opening presents! ; )

Emma Claire and Hayden spent the whole time making loom bracelets. Little did he know we had gotten him one for Christmas, too!

Get better fast, Gran-Gran! We can't wait to have you back next year!!!

Christmas Day w/ Pops & Gran-Gran

After we opened presents on Christmas morning Emma Claire & I headed to the hospital w/ Ra-Ra to spend some time w/ Pops and Gran-Gran.

Gran-Gran was in her room recovering from gallbladder surgery so Emma Claire brought and decorated a small tree for her room. It seemed to perk her up a bit! : )

After that we took Pops downstairs to get his daily IV to flush out some infection he is fighting off.

He and Emma Claire decided to play doctors and then he tried his best to answer all of her questions. ; )

The doctor is in!

Taking Pops for his Christmas Morning IV! ; )

Christmas Morning 2013

So blessed to spend Christmas morning with some of my favorite people and have amazing food to go along with it!

The joy on their faces just makes me smile. : )

They never get too old to climb under the Christmas tree looking for a gift with their name on it!

We think Camp may be a tad bit OCD and have no clue where he got it. ; ) Can you see how he lined up each gift as he opened them?

Uncle Bruce got coupons in his stocking!

A little 'talking tom' and Duck Dynasty apparel.

Love this picture of my dad with the trash bag. I've always told Benjamin that it was the mans 'job' to deal with the trash. I only say that because my dad has always been so quick to clean up trash and empty trash cans. It's all I've ever known. Really a servants heart.

I caught a picture of RaRa opening a gift! We rarely ever get pictures of her because she is always behind the scenes. She's very very sneaky. ; )

Below are the kids opening their big gift this year...

They each got Nabi 2's!!

Mom and I scored these on Black Friday at a great price. We were super excited about them because they are an android tablet that can be set in child's mode or parent mode where we can use them. They also have all types of parental controls and timers that only allow them to access what we would have them too.

They already have the Kindle and Nook apps downloaded on them. ; )

Dawson was snoozing while everyone else opened gifts so he got his own show as he opened his.

I think he's got the right idea with the chocolate!

Emma Claire is such a good big sister. She LOVES helping Dawson and sometimes mother hen's him a bit, too much. ; )

So thankful to spend another Christmas with my loves.

I am also thankful for the day it represents. May we never forget the reason for the season and what the ultimate Christmas gift ever given was.

Luke 2: 9-14

And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with great fear. 10 And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. 11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. 12 And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.” 13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying,
14 “Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!”[c]

Christmas Eve with the Samples

Nothing says Christmas like family pictures! ; )

Have you ever tried to take a picture with 8 little's in it? Crazy.

So thankful that they are all the best of buddies!

Camp was super proud of his new gun. Can you tell by the look on his face?

I'm not sure how many Cracker Barrel gift cards Grandmother and Grandaddy got this year. ; )
