Little Green Frogs Book

This past week Emma Claire got to bring home her class book for us to get to know her friends better. Loved this treat and what a wonderful idea it was from her teachers.

Emma Claire got this book out a zillion times. She loved it and would make up all the crazy stories about each child. Thanks Mrs. Amy & Mrs. Kathy!

Thanksgiving 2010

Boy have we been busy over the Thanksgiving break between having company, stomach bugs, Camp's first haircut, cooking a 'feast' : ), black Friday shopping, and all the things in between.

We were so glad that RaRa and PePaw got to keep tradition and got to come here for Thanksgiving break. Uncle Bruce and Kalei even got to drive down from Virginia Beach and stay a couple days, too! We also invited our neighbor Mrs. Ray over to enjoy all of this yummy food that RaRa cooked. I did make two things. : ) Just look at all that yumminess. My mouth is watering all over again. : )

A couple of years ago Benjamin started a tradition of at Thanksgiving Dinner we go around the table and starting at the letter 'A' we telling something that we are thankful for. Of course he starts with letter 'A' and says Ashley and then I end up with some weird letter like 'X'. Really, who isn't thankful for x-rays, they find great tiny things like kidney stones. : ) (Really it was an ultra-sound, but it's all the same, right?)

The last two years we have made a trip to the outlets in Smithfield, NC the Wednesday before Thanksgiving to take advantage of the early sales they are putting out for Black Friday. A highlight for Emma Claire is to ride the fun rides in between stores.

While the boys watched the Alabama game Camp preferred to watch Blue's Clues on Mommy's phone. : )

While I was cleaning out clothes Camp hitched a ride with Uncle Bruce. : )

Emma Claire kept Kalei busy... from playing games on her ipod (or knee pad as Emma Claire called it : ) to playing princess dress up.
We had such a wonderful Thanksgiving break and have sooooo many things to be Thankful for. One of the things at the top of the list, FAMILY.

Camp's First Haircut!!

Today we took Camp to get his First Haircut! Here he is pre-haircut.

We decided to go to Kidz Kutz in Wake Forest, NC for his first cut. We took sissy somewhere special for her first so of course we had to take him, too. : ) It was an awesome place with plenty of things to keep the little ones entertained.

Look how handsome he looks! Mrs Deborah did a great job with Camp and he LOVED that he got to watch Blue's Clues while she played with his hair. Here is the certificate they gave us for his first haircut and a bag with his first locks. Thank you, Kidz Kutz!

Thanksgiving Feast 2010

Today was Emma Claire's Thanksgiving Feast at school. I love that mine and Benjamin's job make it where we don't have to miss these special occasions with our kids. They made Indian costumes to wear and place mats for the tables and it was also a special treat that RaRa and PePaw got to be in town to celebrate.

Emma Claire and Alyssa being silly!

Emma Claire and Abby were patiently waiting on their Daddy's to arrive.

They made these place mats for the feast and this is the sign that was hanging on their door today. She loves her brother!!
