Day 3 of Fall Festival Costumes

This afternoon we made our last rounds to show our new fall costumes to the neighbors. Poor Camp was already done by this point of being Super Man. After I put his costume on he started crying and trying to pull the sleeves off. But what makes Superman Better?
A Snack will do it every time!

Headed to the neighbors...Emma Claire was telling Ms. Ray she brought her a cracker so that she would feel better. (She had laryngitis.)

This picture cracks me up. I asked Benjamin to take a picture of me and Minnie Mouse all dressed-up and this is what I got. : ) I do love it though...
Of course Abby and Fred needed crackers, too!

I love that I captured this picture of Emma Claire pointing out her sparkle shoes. These were her favorite part of her outfit. (Thanks, Gran-Gran!)

Ms. Elaine let Emma Claire pick some of her Daisy's. Aren't they gorgeous? My favorite flower.
And here again, I wanted a picture of me and Camp in his Superman Costume. ; )
Oh, how I love him. He makes me laugh. Camp had a mouth FULL of raisins that Ms. Elaine gave him.

Eating "hotton candy" at the fair

Benjamin made this video on his phone at the NC State Fair.
Camp moved up to the walkers class at church today! :' (

Fall Festival at Holly Grove Baptist Church

It is always so good to go back to Holly Grove and see people who feel like family. Tonight was their fall festival so I loaded up the kiddos and went by myself because Benjamin had to much studying to do. I think I almost bit off more than I could chew.

A crowd + two fussy babies = one tired momma. : )

Isn't Samuel (Finn) adorable?

This boy could not get enough sweat tea. If you
could see his face he has a ring around it from how
hard he was smashing the cup against his face.

Doing what my boy does best;
being destructive.

Camp finally found someone his size; Kamryn Lee.

Camp loved playing basketball with Mr. Tim. (Finn)
Doesn't he, Camp, look like a big boy here!?!?

Pop (Tommy) kept telling the kids that the fish had
a gimp fin because Nanny (Shelia) had a cast on
one of her hands. : ) Poor Nanny.

Wait til Uncle Brandon sees this form. He'll have her in the gym in no time at all.

Love these people. Charlie and Tracy Sledge.

Where's Waldo???

Camp could not figure this guy out.

Funny thing is, I have a picture just like this of Emma Claire
playing in this same pool when she was Camp's age.

Camp figured the best way to get the balls in the holes was
just to climb onto it and put them in!

At the end of the night they had costume contests for the different age groups.

Most of the kiddos that attended tonight. They had a wonderful turnout!!!
At the end of the night, yes, I'm proud I went, but I'm already planning a wonderful Sunday afternoon nap for tomorrow. : ) Just to see the smiles on my kids faces and the wonderful time they had playing with their friends made it all worth it.

Lazy Saturday Mornings

I love these pictures of my kids playing together in front of the cozy fire. Still in our PJ's and watching cartoons on a lazy Saturday Morning.

This just does my heart good.

P.S. They know they may not get off the rug because that is too close to the fire. : )
(I knew my dad would have something to say about that!)

Fall Festival at Little Lambs Learning Center

The kids normally don't go to school on Friday's, but because today was their Fall Festival we decided to get dressed up and go. It was even better because I got to go just as their Mommy and not worry about getting back to work. On our way in we spotted some pumpkins so we did the only appropriate thing and took pictures. : )

There were lots of Superman's there.
Camp & Abby Lyon

The quality of the pictures I took inside aren't that great because of the lighting, but they'll do. : ) They are mostly of Camp because he stayed with me and Emma Claire went and did her own thing.

Okay, so I wasn't allowed to wear fake tattoos when I was little so this was a BIG deal for Emma Claire.

It was a treat that Daddy got to come, too!

Tucker Davis & Camp. These boys are only 11 days apart. : )

Camp was so tired. He finally just crashed on the floor.
Thanks to Dan & Rachael Davis for sharing
this picture of a played out Superman. : )

Ms. Kelly Michael was sweet to bring us some homemade cinnamon rolls in exchange for some maternity clothes. Emma Claire could not wait to get in them.
