These are just some random pics I took from my phone while we were traveling over the holidays and wanted to make sure that I kept them.
The kiddos with Pops and Gran-Gran.
Right: At the end of our Christmas trip Benjamin and I were able to get away for a couple of days to Chattanooga, TN for a Campus Outreach Conference. Some friends of ours were doing the music and they also had awesome speakers like Matt Chandler, John Piper, & Mike Greaer.
Right: We traveled up the mountain and walked around Covenant College.
And look who else we got to spend time with! Chelsey and Chad don't live far out of the city so they came on New Years Eve night and spent the evening with us.
We had a blast hanging out with them! We took a walk over the bridge and just look how pretty the city is at night.
We also ate some good grub! I have never been to Sticky Fingers but I can't wait to go back! Look how much food was just on my plate.
Chad drove us to the top of the mountain so that we could see how pretty the lighting was. It was pretty amazing! Then we headed back to the conference for the 'dance party'. Before everything started they set out to break a world record of how many beach balls could be thrown in the air at the same time. The World Record was 400 and they blew it out of the park by throwing 1,000! (There were 5,000 at the conference.)
The night before we left Poppa and GG brought the kids up to us so we could leave early the next morning. Check out Camp's little room Benjamin set up for him with the curtain. : )
