Panama City Beach 2014

One of our most favorite things to do is our yearly trip to Panama City Beach, Florida with RaRa and PePaw. We start counting down the weeks as soon as summer begins for our week full of family, fun, and relaxation!

On the way I tried out my new Young Living travel diffuser and it worked like a charm! The kids did amazing in the car!

We stopped in Jacksonville, FL for the night and here is one of our cute hotel buddies. ; )
(Can you tell we had been putting down on a lot of coffee? : )

We made it!! This guy and I are ready for our fun lazy week!

Yes, RaRa cooked a yummy breakfast every morning. Where is she now?!? ; 0

The first day on the beach the water was a bit rough and had lots of seaweed. As you can see, it didn't stop the kids from having fun!

Last year Dawson wasn't walking so this was a totally new experience for him. He loved the waves coming up and hitting his feet but spent most of his time playing in the sand. Can you see him swelling his chest? I think he is trying to intimidate the waves. : )

This was our amazing view for the week. This pool was right behind our house and on the other side of it was the bay.  A total little piece of heaven.

Time for a little fishing!

PePaw was little excited about his ribs from Pineapple Willy's! A yummy meal over the ocean.

Me and my main squeeze!

Check out this awesome pineapple Emma Claire drew on the menu. Not bad at all, sissy!

Yup, I enjoyed an afternoon nap with the kiddos.

The kids were complete water bugs the entire week. They spent the majority of their time under water perfecting their under water swim.

This is such a big deal for them. We have spent years with crying at bath time because they were afraid we would get water in their eyes. They just hit another milestone which is somewhat sad for this mommy. ; (

Yea...Daddy thought he was being funny. ; )

Check out these jumps!

Dawson loved to sneak in and try to wake the big kids after nap time. : )

Benjamin and I slipped out one morning and had a yummy breakfast at The Egg & I. Then we went to Pier Park and walked down the longest pier I've ever been down in my life.

It was gorgeous!

Then he surprised me with this awesome gift! I am the one that is suppose to be giving him a gift for completing his dissertation but instead he treated me to an hour long massage. AMAZING!

When you go to Florida you can't help but want to go Putt-Putt. Those are some of my fondest memories with my family. Dawson's favorite part was feeding these ginormous fish!

I'm just saying that I play a pretty mean putt-putt game. ; )

Time for race cars! This is a highlight for these 4. They have been talking smack since last year about who will win this year.

And the winner was....Daddy and Camp! However, there is some controversy as to why they won. I will leave it at that. : )

Look at this water baby! He LOVED the water. You had to be ready because with no warning at all he would jump right in the pool. Such a new world for us because the others have always been so skid-dish of water.

I love this picture of EC! Such a testimate of her life with two brothers!

Time for a little corn-hole! Uncle Bruce made these cool boards for PePaw for Christmas and we got great use out of them.

Love this view right outside our house. It's like we have our own personal giant yard!

Ah! My LOVES!!

A beautiful day at the beach! Have you ever seen an ice-cream boat? Yea, me either! They came down the beach playing music and selling ice-cream. You know the mommy in me would not let my kids buy ice-cream from a stranger!

Alright. You see this sting-ray? Emma Claire was swimming above it on her float when Benjamin saw it. He grabbed both kids and high-tailed it back to shore!

What's up with my family and ocean animals? Remember a few years ago when we had the encounter with the shark at Myrtle Beach? Maybe we should stick with the pool. : )

Beach selfie!

More laziness from the Quinn fam!

Such a beautiful sunset! We serve an awesome God!

This was such a sweet time with our family.

So thankful for all 3 of these people! Don't know where my life would be without them.

Happy Birthday, PePaw!! Dawson wasn't to impressed with the Happy Birthday song. : )

I'm not sure how much ice-cream PePaw actually got to eat. : )

Being a big brother is hard work! : )

We went for a walk at Pier Park and ran into this sweet man who had his bird with him. He was so sweet to take his time with the kiddos.

A trip is not complete without Kilwin's! One of our families favorite spots.

So I mentioned that the kids were water bugs this week, right? Well, because of that, Camp got an awful case of swimmer's ear. We found an awesome quick med and they were fantastic!

Who else gives out free dippin' dots after you visit?!

Camp even got sissy a cup. : )

It was a total accident but she caught a crab!

A sea turtles nest!

Not much better than lunch on the front porch in your swimsuits.

We had such a fantastic time and it was hard to say goodbye, but we can't wait until next year!

The picture below is from our ride home. Here is my Facebook post that went along with it...

"Riding in the car for hours usually produces bad attitudes. When you're ugly towards your sister you must serve her for 5 minutes by brushing/playing with her hair. Creative punishment in the car by dad. It seems to have worked. ;0"

The kids were such troopers in the car. They really did fantastic!

Thanks again for another summer of memories, RaRa & PePaw! We are already counting down the days until next year. : )
