Caught Red Handed

This was the conversation:

Mommy: "Dawson, what are you doing?"

Dawson: He hums, "I don't know..."

Mommy: "Dawson."

Dawson: He hums, "huh"

Mommy: "Dawson, what are you doing?"

Dawson: He hums, "I don't know..."

Mommy: "Let's move the pillow."

*Mommy moves the pillow....

*Dawson with huge blow-pop in his mouth...

Mommy: "What are you doing???"

Dawson: He hums, "I don't know..." while smiling.

Mommy: "Are you suppose to have a sucker?"

Dawson: Shakes his head yes and says, "I wanna have a sucker first."

Mommy: "No, we don't eat a sucker first, we not suppose to have a sucker. Give Mommy the sucker."

*Dawson gives Mommy the sucker with the saddest puppy dog eyes you've ever seen.

Mommy: "What do you say?"

Dawson: "Tank-tou"

Mommy: "Not, thank you, what do you tell Mommy?"

Dawson: "Sorry" with the saddest eyes you've ever seen looking at the sucker like a friend he'll never see again.

Completely broke my heart until....

He was caught behind the pillow with a snickers wrapper in his hand. 

This boy! 

Then getting love from brother because he got in trouble. Bless it!
