Anniversary Trip to New York City

Mommy & Daddy went to New York for their 5 Year Anniversary. 12/18/2009

We went to Radio City to see the Radio City Christmas Spectacular by the Rockettes.

Left: Inside the Radio City Music Hall. Right: We weren't suppose to be taking pictures so this is the best we could do. This is a picture of the live Nativity they had.

Left: Times Square!

Left: Look who we saw while we were there! Not really.... we just walked into the entrance of a Wax Museum.

Left: Grand Central Station. Right: He looked like he was proposing so I thought the picture would be appropriate for our anniversary. : )

Left: These clocks were the center piece of Grand Central Station. Each face was made out of Opal and is worth 33 million dollars!

Left: The ball that drops on New Years.

Left: The view from our hotel room. We stayed on the 29th floor of the Holiday Inn on Times Square. Right: I got pretty good at taking our picture. : ) We are on top of an open top bus in front of Times Square.

Left: Madison Square Gardens. Right: New York City Post Office.

Right: This 'Believe' sign was on the side of the Macy's Building.

Right: Empire State Building.

Left: The Original Macy's Building. Right: All of these tiles were painted by children in memory of those lost in 9-11.

Left: China Town. I LOVED It!!! If I lived there I would already be speaking Chinese because I would be there all the time! Right: I just wanted to get a picture of some of the snow we saw while we were there. The city kept most of it cleaned up.

Left: Ground Zero. The red steal is the beginning framework for the new buildings. Right: This was the church in movie 'National Treasure'.

Left: Love this picture of the Wall Street Sign. Right: Brooklyn Bridge.

Left: Long Island. Right: At the base of that glass building in the Chapel they still have pieces of remains from 9-11 that they haven't identified who they are.

Left: This huge building is a Homeless Shelter. Right: United Nations.

Left: Rockefeller Plaza!!! Right: The famous Christmas Tree at Rockefeller.

Right: We watched Phantom of the Opera at the Majestic Theater.

Left: Inside the Majestic getting ready for The Phantom of the Opera to start. Right: We ate at this Italian Restaurant before we went to see The Phantom.

Left: The inside of Macy's was beautiful! The store is so big it's a whole city block. It has 8 floors, 3 Starbucks, McDonalds, Auntie Anns, and several other Restaurants. It was crazy. Right: Macy's still had some of the old wooden escalators.

Macy's Famous Window Decorations.
