The other night Emma Claire and I were sitting in the living room playing until it was time to go to bed. She walked off for a minute and said that she was going to go read her Bible. She sat down, placed her Bible in her lap, and said, "The Bible is God's Holy Word". She then opened the Bible, turned to the first page and said, "In the beginning....". Emma Claire then went on to tell the Bible stories in her own words and in the ways that she understands them. What a proud moment as a parent. She is really taking in more than we think!
