The lawnmower has been a long time coming. We just finally sold the old one we had and bought a new mower. If this one messes up it's going to the shop under that wonderful warranty plan! ; ) The kids have loved it! Camp will sit on it forever making a running motor sound with his mouth and jerking the steering wheel back and forth. It also came with a great trailer that connects to the back!
If anyone knows Benjamin you know how much he has HATED having a car. So much that he didn't even want to talk about it if anyone brought it up and even told Emma Claire not to call it 'daddy's car'. He sold his beloved Tacoma over a year ago to help pay for the PhD program he has started and I think has regretted it ever since. : ( Over the last several months we have been casually checking craigslist to see if we saw a truck that he could sell the car for and purchase. This last week he finally found one! It's a 95 Nissan that had been flipped byt the owner. It has never been in an accident but the owner worked on cars so he replaced lots of the parts in the engine and gave us warranties on them all. It was also very clean on the inside, too! The best part is that Emma Claire calls it his 'magenta truck'. : )
He say's he feels like he has gotten his manhood back! : ) So proud for him.
